A couple of days ago Google released a list summarising 52 changes which they implemented during April which are now affecting search results. This has nothing whatsoever to do with penguins, pandas, or indeed any other monochromatic animal. These are just simply run-of-the-mill algorithmic changes which have been implemented without any formal announcement.

Repairing What the Google Penguin Algorithm Change Did to Your Website

The Google Penguin algorithm change may not have entirely destroyed SEO, but it certainly did alter it. Before Penguin you just backlink your five main keywords and let it battle every day until your website ranked. Now we have to perform much more observantly to keep link profiles looking natural to Google.

One of the situatons unavoidable from this is that there have been occurances of false positives. This is where a site looks to have been penalised, regardless of not using any of the methods featured by Google. To help remedy this, Google has a form that you can fill in to declare either your own site or another site which shows to have been wrongfully penalised as a result of the Penguin update.

To realize what the algorithm change was all about and what can be done, the following was discovered:

Google has started penalizing sites that are over optimized for their keywords. This includes both on-site as well as off-site search terms.

Since the Penguin algorithm was dispatched, we are noticing a vast amount of Web 2.0 sites climb to Google page one. But it's too early to assume whether this is a direction we can rely on or not in the future but as of now it is something we can benefit from, which means a nice increase of traffic for your websites while the Penguin gets allocated.

We know that Google gives rankings to sites that have web 2.0 backlinks in their link profiles. This incorporates sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Squidoo Lenses, and LinkedIn. For on-site SEO: remove your keywords from your meta tags, site title, site description, H tags, alt text on your images, and minimizing your keyword usage to under one percent for any given page you are trying to obtain rankings. There is also a constituent that sites without copy on the upper fold have been hit hard as well, not to mention the detrement that you may possibly be using frames as well. Diane is a 59 year old Veteran who worked at the VA Medical center as a Respiratory Therapist for over 25 years. She served our country during the vietnam era and has saved many lives during her career. She is a warm and most loving person. She had an accident in 2001 which required her to take an early medical retirement. The VA does not offer free dental care for veterans, and outside dental insurance is too much money for her. Her retirement only brings in $958 per month. Out of that, her rent has to be paid, cost of living, and food for her to eat. After all is said and done, she has about $30 left over each month.

Something as simple as a piece of chicken gives her unbelievable pain.
Right now Diane has about 5 teeth in her mouth. These teeth are so ground down over the years from being used as her chewing teeth, that they are now starting to erode below the gum line. She can't even eat most of the foods out there. Some of her teeth have wore down so much that the gum has grown over and those teeth are now trapped below the surface. These ones cause her the most pain. Recently, she has had a little bleeding from the teeth below the gum line. This is NOT good and an infection could easily happen. You can actually see the difference in her face from the photo, versus the image on the video. The photo was taken about 2 years ago. The video was taken recently. She has been losing so much weight from not being able to eat!

For her to get dentures, it would require oral surgery to cut the gum and take out the teeth buried below the surface. Then extractions on her remaining teeth. The cost of the dentures are about $7,000 for the top and bottom, and the surgery is about $4,000.

What I am seeking is some help with getting it done for her. I am not asking for the full amount, but the cost of the dentures is the most pricey. If I am able to get at least $5,500, we will be able to put the rest on a payment plan. No dentist around will take payments from the start. Every one wants payment in full or half down. I have searched for other options through churches, grants, private doctors, and even possibly going to Mexico for it. Nothing will work and the dentists will not budge in their policies.
Almost everyone takes the simple act of chewing for granted.

How to Easily Find the Best SEO Keywords for Your New Website

DARE I SHOULD SHARE MY SEO KNOWLEDGE WITH EVERYONE!

When looking for good keywords, an SEO tutorial told me NOT to use Google's "About X-number results," noticing that the higher the number, the more difficult it will be to get top placements. And for the most part, that can be true. But there's two other displays I look at along with that number: 1) the amount of AdWord posts that are present, and 2) are there suggestions that drop down from the search box.

Take for instance, "long island karaoke rental." This has sidebar ads, but no top ads, this term also carries 3 search suggestions, and with only 1,280,000 results, this one should be easy to rank for, and the term appears to me as one that gets used frequently. "Appears to me" - this is powerful SEO knowledge to have .

Sidestepping here, I should explain that I am currently doing SEO for the Long Island DJs at longislanddjkaraoke.com. I am also trying to boost a few keywords that would be beneficial to this website. And tomorrow, it will be a new one week update. Being that yesterday I finished the on-site SEO, I should have a bit more knowledge of which keywords we should use, as we may have an SERP increase (takes 1-3 days for Google to notice).

In the above screenprint, notice all the search suggestions (those can be used, too)!! Also notice, that this is a LOCAL search, which places businesses who are optimized for LOCAL search on top. Even with a low search volume of 1,980,000 results, this keyword will be a tough one to use, unless we also employ local internet marketing ... a whole different game.

In choosing keywords, I always use Google Adwords: Keyword Tools. This is where you'll find which keywords get more searches. Choosing the right words to input without wasting a lot of time and effort, also takes search knowledge as well as your familiarity with the website niche.

Once I get 30 to 40 usable keywords, I go and sign up my client with an account at Sheer SEO. They have SERP (search engine results position) keyword tracking online software, and offer a 60 day trial period. You can even test a website without signing up. Next is on-site SEO, then come back for the weekly update, ans select which phrases I want to gamble with.

For the off-site SEO, I have a source that managed to steer around Google's Panda and Penguin. But that's not enough for some, so I have this software, WSO CB BacklinkTopia. Now wait a week, go back to Sheer SEO, and see the outstanding results!
